A Complete Equatorial Package at an Attractive Price

Designed for the advanced astronomer, the, Orion SkyView Pro 100mm ED EQ Apo Refractor lets in 55% more light than the ED80 model. This complete equatorial package features the SkyView Pro ED 100 apochromatic refractor optical tube assembly paired with the stable, precise equatorial mount, with a few extras thrown in.

The ED 100 delivers images remarkably free of chromatic aberration, thanks to its fully multi-coated 100mm objective doublet and the fact that one element is crafted with extra-low dispersion "E" apochromatic glass.

The 100mm aperture provides 55% more light than the SkyView Pro 80. The 900mm focal length (f/9.0) is ideal for visual planetary and lunar study, and is excellent for imaging work, as well. The tube is 36" long and the telescope weighs 40 lbs (assembled).

The SkyView Pro equatorial mount combines stability and precision control. It is nicely portable, and the optics cool down in no time so you can carry the scope outdoors for a quick look around practically on a whim. The mount has a one-year warranty.

This unbelieveable package also comes with Orion's Starry Night™ Special Edition astronomy software, which you can use to explore the solar system with interactive SkyGuide tours, access 1 million stars and celestial objects, view and print detailed maps of your local sky and receive automatic updates of satellite, comet and asteroid orbital data.
